open()

Here’s how to use open() functions.

f.open()

Description:

Open a composite table’s base table.

Syntax:

f.open()

Note:

The function opens composite table f’s base table, or a multizone composite table when f is a homo-name files group.

Parameter:

f

A composite table file object or a homo-name files group object.

Return value:

Composite table’s base table/multizone composite table

f.open()

Description:

Generate a cluster table from a cluster file.

Syntax:

f.open(p)

Note:

Then function opens cluster file f and generates a cluster able based on f.

Parameter:

A cluster file; support only the composite table file

Return value:

Cluster table
