comabs()

Description:

Calculate the modulus of a sequence of complex numbers.

Syntax:

A.comabs()

Note:

External library function (See External Library Guide).

Modulus of a complex number (also called the modulus) is the length of a vector plotted in the complex plane. The vector is the distance value between the origin and the complex number. For a complex number, we define its value a+bias .

Parameter:

A

A sequence of complex numbers.

Return value:

Sequence

Example:

A

1

=[[1,2],[3,4],[5,6],[7,8],[5,0],[-5,0],[-8,-9],[-0.3,5],[3,-4],[0,0],[0,3],[0,-2]]

2

=A1.comabs()

3

=[1,3,5,7,5,-5,-8,-0.3,3,0,0,0]

4

=[2,4,6,8,0,0,-9,5,-4,0,3,-2]

5

=complex(A3,A4)

Generate a sequence of complex numbers.

6

=A5.comabs()
