Among expression definitions for a report, certain property expressions must begin with the equals sign and certain others do not need be preceded by the symbol. Rules are as follows:
An editable expression must start with the equal sign;
In the last tab of the dataset definition window, the parameter expression definition does not begin with the equal sign;
A dynamic parameter expression does not begin with the equal sign;
In a statistical graph definition, all expressions must start with the equal sign.
